The future is humanity.
No matter how distanced technology may make us, or AI replace us
We as humans, as civilized people, dictate the present and the future.
In this current age of AI, we are at a inflection point of the fate of humanity.
Far more frequently, more and more people find themselves delegating creative and thinking tasks to AI.
There are two main issue with this: by delegating these tasks to AI, we are losing our critical thinking skills and even more importantly, we are losing our creativity.
When everyone uses AI to write for them, there will be no originality in what you write. Everyone will sound the same and gone will be the days of yonder where you would know who wrote a piece of text just by the style of how it was written.
There is something special about this. It is part of the reason why humanity has survived the brink of extintion to lead us to where we are now. And throughout it all, we had paintings and oral history— which turned into writing.
These two practices are inherently human and are found among no other living creature on this planet.
Yet we are letting machines strip this God given ability away from us.
I propose a change. A solution where we can use AI, not to replace us. But to make us stronger, to enhance our uniquely human abilities.
The CEO and Founder of Strawberry Browser puts it simply, “AI should amplify human creativity and connection, not replace it.” -Charles Maddock. This is the ethos of Carnile, to use AI as a catalyst of human creativity, expression and ingenuiety.
Carnile will be for finding unconventional ways to express human emotions and memories in ways traditional means cannot.
Additionally, with the increasingly anti-SLOP resentment online, the time for Carnile to emerge has never been at a better time. Despite this, I will take my time.
This project originally started during covid with music, exploring what made authentic music stand out from mass produced pop songs meant to chart and be played on radio. With thousands of hours of pondering so far, and the emergence of me as a result, every day I spend living life purely, this project will only improve.
With all of this in mind, to truly make this into a movement. No traditional means of spreading the word of Carnile will be solely relied upon, for Carnile is not a traditional idea.
Carnile is a once in a generation movement meant to create a path, and ways of influence no one has attempted before, and will be able to recreate in the future.
